Spending the Thanksgiving weekend with Nathan's parents in Nicholasville, Kentucky.

So okay, a few things went wrong, otherwise, hooray, awesome week!
Nate and I are dogsitting, totally hectic at first, the house is not exactly dogproof, and I missed a bunch of things I was not expecting dogs to be able to destroy. Halfway through the week they calmed down, now we're all buds. Except Christian, who hates us now for letting in dogs. But it's ok Chris, I hate you too since you pissed all over the bed and in the hall. And cat piss NEVER washes out. That's why we have a litter box for you.
Dog food happens to be cheaper that cat food. Score.
We watched Defiance the other night, great movie, I was surprised I completely missed it last year. Also saw the new Wolverine Movie. Kind of sad really, but I never really liked too many Marvel characters, so it wasn't really a loss. One can never have too much testoster- ...I mean Hugh Jackman.
Also gained two more pounds, which puts me just forty under my goal. Hopefully Christmas indulgences will help.

I told myself I am content.
I convinced myself I am happy.
So is it genuine happiness if I had to make myself like this? Even though I know I tricked myself, I can say I am at least happy.
But I still don’t know if that’s trustworthy.
